Evelyn Theresa Omner passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at age 94. Beloved wife of the late Morris Lambert Omner. Daughter of the late John and Mildred Treadaway. Mother of Faith (Philip) Giuffre and Fay (Ronald, Sr.) Camet. Grandmother of Gene (Julie) Geary, Todd (Melissa) Geary, Christopher (Susan) Geary, Ronald Jr. (Donna) Camet, Brett (Theresa) Camet and Christian (Kim) Camet. Sister of the late Margaret Dammerau. Also survived by 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the staff of Chateau de Notre Dame; Nikki, Althea, Michon, Shontae, Herbert, Mona, Washington, Joy, Christy, Robin, Mel, Lelia and Yvette. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
