Florence Amy Warwick entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. She was 80 years old. She was the beloved wife for 58 years of Edwin Warwick. Devoted mother of Brian Warwick (Missie), Jeff Warwick (Jessica), and Laura Peterson (Rob). Proud grandmother of Patrick, Allison, Peter, Will, Elizabeth, Preston, Kate, and Ben. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Bela and Florence Smith Follansbee; two brothers, William and Frank Follansbee; and one sister, Mary Lou Daigre.
Florence graduated from Dominican and Newcomb College. She was an educator, and retired from the Jefferson Parish School System. Florence was a devout Catholic and active parishioner of St. Clement of Rome Parish.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sisters of the Poor and Second Harvest.
