Frank A. Reyes Jr.

Frank A. Reyes, Jr., age 89, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, January 31, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his children Diane Daniels, Loretta Branicky (Robert), Frank A Reyes III (Sandy), Patricia Ladut (Orlando), Grandchildren Paul LeLeaux, III, Charmaine Carmouche (Michael), Nicole Ladut, Orlando Ladut, Jr. (Gina), Lisa Moose (Kelly), Frank A. Reyes IV, Brittany Reyes, Bradley Daniels (Roberta), Lynne Glick, and Karie Farrally. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Frank A. Reyes, Sr. and Irma Burtanog Reyes, his loving wife Sarah; his son-in-law Ed Daniels and his Brother Eugene (Ninkie) Reyes.

Frank was in the U.S. Merchant Marines during WWII and later worked for Lykes Bros. Steamship Company until his retirement. Frank served as President, Vice President and Treasurer of the American Filipino Club and was extremely proud of his Filipino heritage.

He was a kind and gentle person and always willing to help anyone in need.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. .
