Franklin D. Heintz passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the age of 80. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Anthony Heintz and Lillian L. Friedman. Frank is also preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Ethelyn Heintz and son Franklin D. Heintz, Jr.
He was a parishioner of St. Andrews Catholic Church. Frank loved to collect New Orleans memorabilia and was an avid Tulane fan.
The family would like to thank everyone that had an opportunity to spend time with Frank. He had a friendly smile that made everyone feel welcome.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation beginning at 11:00am on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00pm. Interment at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery.
