Gail Camille Lingle Greenberg

Gail Camille Lingle Greenberg, a retired Nurse, passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 81. She was a native of Jefferson, Texas and a resident of Metairie, Louisiana. Gail was an avid Horse Racing fan, she enjoyed dancing, going to the casinos and taking trips to the Beach with her loving family and husband.

Gail is the beloved wife of 38 years to Samuel Elliot Greenberg, MD. Daughter of the late Gail Charles Lingle and Hilda Milleur Viskell. Loving mother of Lisa Cortez (Tommy), Kelly Lockhart (Jay Cuccia) and Andy Lockhart (Angela). Stepmother of Kim., Marc and Keith Greenberg. Grandmother of Thomas Coretz, Jr., Tara Couch (Blake), Sophia Cortez (Eric Donnelly), Patrick Lockhart (Emily) and Justin Lockhart (Mercedes), Jason Cuccia (Beth) and Joey Cuccia (Kristyn). Great grandmother of Mila Blake and Hayes Thomas Couch; Scarlett and Layke Lockhart; Jaxon, Maverick and Mila Pearl Lockhart; Emily, Cassie and Allie Cuccia; Gabby and Lukie Cuccia. Sister of Joe Madron, Myra Blancher and Marvel Desroche. She is also survived by her beloved poodle companion Chloe.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124 on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM. A private interment will be held at a later date.
