Gareth Neil Stubbs, 51, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He worked for Lloyds Register in New Orleans for over 20 years and was a regular patron of the Crown and Anchor Pub in Algiers Point where he was a much loved member of the community. Gareth was also an active member of the New Orleans Rugby Club. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Gareth was born in Newport, South Wales, and attended Hartridge High School and the University of Surrey. He is survived by his father Colin Stubbs; and sister Rachel Hawkins. Gareth was preceded in death by his mother Valerie Stubbs; and brother Christopher Stubbs.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Federal City Auditorium, 2485 Guadalcanal, New Orleans, LA 70114 on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hope Animal Rescue Shelter.
