Gary Jay Key, 60, died late Memorial Day 2017 from complications due to a spinal cord injury in 2013. As a quadriplegic, he valiantly fought for his life for four years. He is survived by his devoted parents John and Alice Fuselier Key; beloved sister, Peggy Ann Key; brother, J. Scott Key (Shelby), nephews, nieces and many friends who cheered him on. A very special thanks for the comfort and joy of his loving pet Jasmine. Gary was a graduate of Jesuit High School class of 1974. He earned a B.S. in business from Louisiana State University in 1978 and was an avid Tiger fan. A private burial was held at Metairie Cemetery on Thursday, June 1.
