Gay Ficaro Leland

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Gaetano Ficaro.

She is survived by her loving husband, Henry M. Leland, her children, Guy H. Leland (Wendy W. Leland) and Rhen L. de Lanzac (Kraig S. de Lanzac), and grandchildren, Mallory D. Aaron (Nicholas A. Aaron), Braden S. de Lanzac and James P. Leland.

Mrs. Leland graduated from Mount Carmel Academy and attended Dominican College. She worked at Rothschild Pediatrics/Ochsner for Kids for 25 years. She loved cooking, gardening, and reading, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her beautifully warm smile.

The Leland family would like to express a special thanks to the medical staff at Southern Grace Hospice for their compassionate care.
