Geraldine “Jerry” Clark, age 96, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026. She was born in St. Louis, MO, on December 7, 1929, and relocated to New Orleans in 1947. Throughout her long and fulfilling life, she was defined by her family's love, a gentle resilience, and an elegant grace. Her commitment to her loved ones was unwavering, and she took great pride in her family. She is survived by her two children, Michael Clark (Diane) and Maureen Clark Bradshaw (Lloyd); three grandchildren, Craig Clark, Christopher Clark (Meghan) and Ryan Bradshaw (Emily); and two great-grandchildren, Colin Clark and Hailei Clark, all who brought her great joy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Frank Calvin Clark and her mother by choice, Geraldine F. Strasser, as well as her birth parents, Barbara Allen Sammann and James W. Fitzpatrick. Jerry was fiercely independent, and she will be remembered for her strength, resilience, faith and dedication to her family. She adored every dog, though she had a special fondness for dachshunds. She possessed striking blue eyes that often drew compliments from others. Jerry’s favorite term of endearment was "Honey”, a word she used generously and lovingly – so much so that many who spent time around her found themselves using it too.
Special thanks to Serenity Senior Residences and Southern Grace Hospice for their compassionate care.
