Gerry was preceded in death by her loving spouse of 46 years, Paul A. Paciera, Jr., and parents William T. and Claudell Shepherd. She is survived by children Paul A. Paciera III (Theresa), Judith "Christy" Strickland (Paul), and Philip A. Paciera; sister Joy A. Ross; and grandchildren Taylor N. Strickland, P. Russell Strickland, Jr., Hailey Stiles (Kristin), Holly Paciera, Peyton Paciera, Paul "Anthony" Paciera IV, and Riley C. Strickland. Loving mother and grandmother, avid bowler and card player, Gerry will be dearly missed by all.
A visitation for Gerry will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, and interment thereafter at Metairie Cemetery.
