Gordon August Dalrymple

Gordon August Dalrymple passed away at his home in Belle Chase on November 2, 2022 at the age of 73. He was born on January 1, 1949 in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated from East Jefferson High School. Gordon went on to serve his country as a member of the United States Coast Guard. Before retiring, he was a division manager with Zedi- formerly known as Southern Flow Companies. He was a passionate outdoorsman who rarely missed an opportunity to willingly brag about his exceptional hunting and fishing skills. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rockwell "Rocky" and Laura Taylor Dalrymple and his brother, Douglas R. Dalrymple. Gordon is survived by his devoted wife of 12 years, Mirza LaBiche Dalrymple; daughters, Amy Roussel (Robbie) and April Dalrymple (Alberto); and grandchildren, Nicholas Roussel and Zachary Roussel. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Ochsner Medical Center (West Bank campus), Compassus Hospice, and Mrs. Betty Roundtree. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 12 PM until the graveside service at 2 PM.
