Grace Brumfield Gaffney, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the age of 75 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank Kittridge Gaffney. Mother of Sean Lee Gaffney (Laurie) and Anna Gaffney Mortillaro (Stephen Jr.). Daughter of the late Bernice Wagner Brumfield and Lee Jewel Brumfield. Sister of Miriam B. Ulmer, Leon Brumfield, Richard Brumfield and the late Eva B. Franz and Eugene Brumfield. Survived by grandchildren Kaelin Leigh Mortillaro, Haleigh Lynn Mortillaro, Angel Fahm Leffew, Charlotte Piper, Ronnie Piper, numerous great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.. Also survived by her companion Gerald Rome. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, La. 70124 on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 12:00 Noon.
