Born on March 18, 1929 in Puerto Cortes, Honduras, Graciela is survived by children Carlos Roberto Olivares of Atlanta, GA, Sheila (David) Beyer of Tampa, FL, George (Cheryl Koski) Olivares of Metairie, LA, and Donald (Amy Rohrer) Olivares of New Orleans, LA; brother-in-law Fidencio Calvo; daughter-in-law Shirley Lowery; grandchildren Del, Carla, Lisa, Ashley, Cory, Jodi, Sabrina, Tony, Alex, Adam, and Leo; six great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; caregiver and friend Guadalupe Candelas; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Carlos Antonio Olivares and son Joaquin Ivan Olivares.
Interment at Lake Lawn Park will be private; there will be a memorial service planned at a later date.
