

Born on January 21, 1948, in New Orleans, Harold was the son of the late Rose Fazzio Mirambell and Harold James Mirambell Sr. He proudly served his Country as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force before building a career as Warehouse Foreman at General Motors Electro-Motive Diesel and later as a driver with United Cab. A dedicated leader, Harold also served as President of the Local 554 UAW.
Harold earned his Associate Degree from Delgado Community College along with a Certificate in HVAC studies. Beyond work and service, his true passion was living life to the fullest with the people he loved.
Family and friends will remember Harold for his joy in the traditions of his City like Mardi Gras, festivals, and the theater. He cherished taking his children to Disney World, a tradition filled with lasting memories. In his younger years, Harold could often be found at the family-owned A&P Bar or dancing, he was even selected as a regular on the local John Pela television show.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Rose and Harold Sr. He is survived by his four loving children: Jeannine Mirambell Duvic (Louis), Angelle Mirambell Vidrine (Ryan), Anne-Elizabeth Mirambell Jaeger (Allen), and Harold J. Mirambell III (Tatum). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren: Lindsey Grace Todd, Zachary Alexa`nder Mirambell, Jonnie “Buggy” Mark Walker Jr., Christian Ramsey Vidrine, Lillian Belle Jaeger, Annelise Blanche Vidrine, and Rose Marie Jaeger. His sister, Darlene Rose Mirambell Farmer (Alvin), and his brother, Craig Kenneth Mirambell Sr., also carry forward his memory.
The family is especially grateful to Chuck Brouillette Jr., Harold’s honorary nephew, who stood by him during the difficult days of the pandemic, and to Dr. David Bateman, a cherished family friend, for his guidance and support in Harold’s care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM, with the Funeral Mass to follow in the chapel at 12:00 PM. Harold will be laid to rest beside his father at Cypress Grove Cemetery in New Orleans. Following the burial, friends and family are invited to gather at 641 Meursault Dr., Kenner, LA 70065, to share stories, laughter, and memories as we celebrate Harold's remarkable life.
Above all, Harold will be remembered as a man who loved deeply, lived fully, and never missed an opportunity to laugh, dance, or share time with those around him. His legacy will continue in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
