Harold Edwin Norman, age 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 3, 2015. He is survived by his devoted sister-in-law, Catherine Aloise Norman, his brother, David William Norman (Sandra), nieces Patricia Ann Norman (Danny), Laura Norman Roots (JP), Leslie Norman Hertz (Kenneth), nephew David Edwin Norman, Sr. (Deanna), great-nephews Justin Craig Frank, David Edwin Norman, Jr., Dalton Raymond Norman, great-nieces Alexis Rose Norman, Mackenzie Rose Hertz, Hazel Rose Roots, and Grace Mary Roots. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert Henry and Rose LaRose Norman and brother, Louis Henry Norman. Harold was retired from Sewell Plastics and was a member of St. Dominic Church and the Rosarian Prayer Group. The family wishes to thank the caring team of Julie, Lou and Kit of Egan Home Health for their tireless efforts and the kind staff at East Jefferson General Hospital Intensive Care Unit. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Dominic Church, 775 Harrison Avenue, New Orleans on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 12:30 pm. Visitation at the church from 11 am until mass time. Masses preferred.
