Cal served the United States in the Air Force, was a career Food Service Consultant, and upon retirement, he chauffeured and guided tours through New Orleans. Even more than cooking and his mornings on the Lakefront, Cal enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Cal was preceded in death by his loving spouse, Susan E. Cavalier; parents Sidney Cavalier, Sr. and Bertha Albarado Cavalier; mother-in-law Mildred Eaton; sister Georgianna Metrejean; and brothers Albert, Carol, Harold, and Wesley Cavalier. He is survived by son Christopher Cavaliere (Margaret); grandchildren Kirsten, Madeline, and Marcel Cavaliere; brother Sidney Cavalier, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life for Cal will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 10AM to 12PM at 1614 Killdeer St., New Orleans, LA 70122. Friends and relatives are welcome.
