Born in Queens, NY, Iggy received an Associate’s Degree from Miami-Dade College, a 100-Ton Master License from Louisiana Technical College, served his community via Bridge House/Grace House and the Community Center of St. Bernard, and worked as a Shipping Clerk/Machinist. Iggy enjoyed reading and listening to music. In his earlier years he was an avid concert-goer, making cherished memories with friends. Most recently, he was into fitness and tinkering with his bikes. Iggy had a keen sense of humor, was a gifted writer, and was adept at working with his hands. People couldn’t help but be drawn to his outgoing personality and energy. Iggy will always be in our memories and hearts. We will miss him beyond words.
Iggy was preceded in death by parents Carmen Montes de Oca Pintado and Ignacio De Jesus Pintado, and is survived by sisters Carmen Pintado-Arasi and Michelle Ramirez; and nieces Gabriela Alexis, Olivia, and Casandra Mari Ramirez.
