 I met Isabel through a mutual friend, and she so graciously donated one of her lovely trees in support of Habitat for Humanity in Slidell...we became friends through facebook, and met in person at my office when she came to Slidell for business, I loved her posts, and funny personality.  I since moved away, and was thinking of her recently...am so sad to hear of her passing...she was (and is) such a beautiful, fun, exciting person to have as a friend. When my parents passed in 2020, we wanted to give my mother's accordion to someone we felt would treasure it, and she purchased it for her son, a musician, each of her children made her proud, she always spoke well of them, along with her precious granddaughters...I am so sorry for your loss, a light to all who knew her, and hope her son enjoys and learns to play that instrument, from Germany. Missing you, my sweet friend!

Isabel “Sandy” and I met because our husbands were cousins. She was beautiful and kind. When we were widowed about the same time, I appreciated her strength and support.  I am sad, and I send deepest sympathy to Michael, Mariana, Alex, and Mark. 

On behalf of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Alumni Association and Brother Martin High School, I offer our prayers and condolences.  We will say a Mass in her memory.

Father of all, we pray to you for Isabel,  all those we love but see no longer. Grant to them eternal rest. Let light perpetual shine upon them. May her soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

I met Isabel "Sandy" while out shopping.  We would run into each other almost weekly.  She was the kindest, sweetest lady my husband and I ever met.  I felt as if I had known her forever.  She was always giving us an update on her family.  She shopped with her precious Mother which I thought was so sweet.  Your loved one will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure to know her and her sweet Mother.  Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.  Matthew 1.5  Love, Elaine and Ralph Labat

Isabelle was the wife of my uncle Rashid. I visited them at their home where I stayed with them for a few months. They were a perfect couple living a perfect life. Sandy was beautiful,  smart, cheerful, and caring. The days I spent with her were beautiful and unforgettable. Rasheed and Isabelle will forever remain in our hearts and prayers, as they will continue to be with us through their beloved children Michael, Alex, Mariana and Mark. From our hearts we send prayers to dear Sandy's soul, asking that her soul be in peace forever.

Isabel was always so nice to me during visits to the office and while administering allergy shots. In this time of sadness may you be comforted to know that others care.  



I extend my sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Yazigi. I, along with many of my family members, were patients of her husband. We remember the care and kindness they both freely offered. 
May God’s inexplicable peace be with you all.

 We were  very sorry to hear of the passing of Isabel.   This has been such a tremendous loss for her children and grandchildren.  May God bless Isabel and may she rest peacefully in Gods arms.

I am so very sorry to hear about my friend. We traded our art at a show here in Centerville.  She was an inspiration and most interesting lady. She will be dearly missed in our local  art community. 

I am so sorry for your loss, I had the pleasure of working with your mom and dad in the MCENO building.  We were like family and enjoyed hearing stories about family and children.  Your mom and dad were a couple to admire for sure, she was beautiful!  I was lucky enough to see your mom at a baby shower for Emily Abadie, she always was a joy to talk to and was so proud of her children and grandchildren. My prayers are with your family!

A true and genuine friendship like ours was so strong, meaningful, and long lasting. Till we see each other again my forever friend! May you always hold my hand in times when I don’t know…

I only met Isabel through Facebook and connection with mutual friend Mariana,  but she was always a genuine and caring person who valued people regardless of rank or social standing and who, as long as she was able, enjoyed life.  We will miss her.

I have so many memories of Isabel.  We met in 2007 when we were both members of a writing group online called Gather.  We had so much in common being that she was Cuban and I was half Venezuelan and we could laugh at the same things.  We became closer friends when we finally met in person around 2015 and hit it off.  We both loved art so spent much time in the New Orleans art galleries .  She painted beautiful trees which showed her rich creative spirit and love of color!  She was very special to me in so many ways - kind to animals - never saying a bad word about anyone -, great sense of humor,  loving life in general and generous.  I don't think folks ever truly leave us and I feel we can talk to one another in some way.   To her beloved family,  my prayers and condolences to each of you.  Sincerely, Mariana Titus.
