His hobbies included his love of the restoring and the racing of Porche Automobiles. For Jim’s final lap, a portion of his remains will be orbiting the earth in a special capsule. No Joke.
Jim is preceded in death by his beloved wife Katherine Crnkovich; his mom and dad, Lisette Sylvia Moore Meyers and James John Meyers.
He is survived by his brother, Richard Moore Meyers (Lynn); his nieces, Marilee Meyers (Romi Gonzalez), Katy Meyers, (Sam Mizelle), and Leslie Meyers (Emily Meyers).
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service that will be held at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 2216 Metairie Rd, Metairie, LA on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 11:30AM.
