Jerry R. Haskin, M.D. died on Monday, November 26, 2018 at University Medical Center in New Orleans at the age of 86. He was the husband for 40 years of Karen Haskin; former husband of Marilyn Haskin; loving father of Barbara Haskin, Daniel Haskin (Deborah), Jason Haskin (Zara), and Ashley Cho (Tara); and grandfather of Elliott Cho and Scarlett Haskin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Bina Haskin, and his brother, Lamoine Haskin.
Dr. Haskin served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a prominent physician in anesthesia, and practiced in Omaha, Nebraska and New Orleans, Louisiana.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 2:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 1:00PM.
