Jerry Joseph Himel

Jerry Joseph Himel, 79, of Harahan, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018. Jerry was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 16, 1939 to the late Taylor and Adveline Landry Himel. He is survived by his sons, Gerald, Rickey, and Cory, and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, T. J. Himel and Wilbert Himel. Jerry worked as a plumber for his own company.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 2:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 1:00PM. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park.
