John Elmer Goodwin, Jr. passed away in Jefferson, Louisiana on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine Bordelon Goodwin. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Katherine Banko and Deborah Lambert; sons, Mark and Steven Goodwin; grandchildren, Michael, Carla, Carolanne, Charlotte, Ginny, Tory, Cory, Nick, and Angele; and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by Karoline Dreher and Joshua Carcabasis, who he considered grandchildren. John worked as a salesman for most of his life.
