

Joseph John DeSalvo, II passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at the age of 88. Born in New Orleans at Touro Infirmary on December 5, 1932 to the late Joseph John DeSalvo and Blanche Isidore DeSalvo, he died December 29, 2020 at Touro Infirmary. He was Valedictorian for the class of 1950,
Jesuit High School, a graduate of Loyola University and of the University of Maryland School of Law.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 38 years, Rosemary James DeSalvo; sons, Joseph John DeSalvo, III and his wife Dianne of Mt. Pleasant, MI, and Leemar DeSalvo of Hot Springs, AK and Mexico; sister, Fay DeSalvo Rizzo and her husband George Rizzo of Houston, TX; brother, Frank G. DeSalvo of New Orleans; two grandchildren, Daniel DeSalvo, his wife Jocelyn and their children: Guiliana, Liliana, Daniel and Lucas DeSalvo all of Pearl River, NY; and Paul DeSalvo of Chicago, IL; nephew F. Gerald DeSalvo and his wife Jessica, niece Emily DeSalvo Blackburn, godchild Batou Chandler, and cousins Paul and Jill Varisco, all of New Orleans.
A Private Funeral Mass celebrated by Archbishop Gregory Aymond and concelebrated by The Most Rev. Philip Landry and The Rev.
