

Joe was an avid outdoorsman and participated in numerous activities— he was a boater, loved fishing, hiking, long mileage cycling, climbing, shooting, and ran over a dozen marathons. He was a certified electrician and was honest, very trustworthy, extremely detailed, and efficient in his work. Everything had to be perfect! His tools and gear always had to be the best and properly maintained. He was also very knowledgeable in multiple craft trades. He donated his time to many folks in their time of need. He will be remembered as a man of faith, family, and many lifelong friends.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Jorge Antonio Diaz and Maria Diaz, and sister, Norma Diaz Eckenrod Babin. He is survived by his siblings, Sister Ana Teresa, OCD, Jorge Antonio Diaz (Freddye), and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
There will be a service in Houston, TX at a later date.
