

Born on December 1, 1936, in New Orleans, Joe was the beloved son of the late Joseph A. Miceli and Anna Miceli-Moreci. He was a proud graduate of Jesuit High School, Class of 1955, and briefly attended Louisiana State University. He also honorably served two years in the military before beginning his professional career.
Joe spent many years as a dedicated salesman with Manny’s Sanitary Supplies. His greatest joy in life was gathering with friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Carolyn Albeanise Miceli, with whom he shared a lifetime of devotion and companionship.
Joe is survived by his children: Dr. Joseph A. Miceli, III (wife Tina), Raymond Miceli, and Lori Miceli Marcus (husband Evan). He was the proud grandfather of Emily and Matthew Miceli, and Jake and Anna Marcus, who brought him immeasurable pride and joy. He is also survived by his brother, A.J. Miceli (wife Carolyn), along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Boulevard, on Friday, January 23, 2026. Visitation: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. | Funeral Mass: 11:00 a.m. | Interment: Hope Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
