Joyce Long Grundmann

Joyce Long Grundmann passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at the age of 91 years old. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 26, 1930. She was a resident of New Orleans and Metairie and spent the last 4 years in Kenner. She attended Sacred Heart High School.

Beloved wife of 71 years to the late Marshall James Grundmann. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Alma Long. Loving mother of Terry L. Grundmann (Wanda), Marsha G. Gilbert (John), Joy G. Cressend, Jan G. Ranson (Daniel), Van J. Grundmann (Gaby), Gwen G. Faust (Donny) and the late Barry Charles Grundmann (Davida). Adoring grandmother of Scott Grundmann, Justin Gilbert, Mallory Gilbert, Carol C. Levy, Rufus Cressend, Jr., John Cressend, Rock Grundmann, Brantley G. Schwab, Barett Grundmann, Daniel Ranson, Jr., Dara R. Schroeter, André R. Stein, Andrew Ranson, Anna G. LaDonne, William Grundmann, Grace Grundmann, Aymé Haydel and Henry Haydel, III. Also survived by 28 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, La. on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with a Funeral Mass beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
