Joyce Engeron Seary, 83, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday March 5, 2016, peacefully in her sleep. Joyce was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 25, 1932. She had an incredible life here on Earth for a wonderful 83 years until she was called to be an angel with our Lord.
Joyce graduated from St. Mary's Dominican High School. She then worked as a secretary at South Central Bell, Gertrude Gardner and later at Versailles Interiors.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 61 years Bernard B. Seary Jr., her daughter Cristine Ponthier, her granddaughter Jasmine Ohler, and her three great grandchildren Jacob Gabriel, Benjamin Joseph and Lilly Kate Ohler.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents Aaron Joseph Engeron and Isia Thibodaux Engeron , and son in law Glenn A. Ponthier.
Visitation will be held on Friday March 11, 2016 at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH from 11am- 12pm, followed by a Mass. Burial Services will follow at All Saints Mausoleum (in Metairie Cemetery).
