Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John “Jack” Jules LeCorgne and her parents, Theodore and Josephine Vorhaben.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Kimberly LeCorgne Hardin (Jeff); her son, Scott Christopher LeCorgne (Beth); her four grandchildren, Scott Hardin (Adrii), Samuel Hardin, Spencer LeCorgne, and Myles LeCorgne; and her sister, Linda Vorhaben Wilmot (John).
She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 31, 1940. She graduated from Alcee Fortier High School, class of 1958, and attended Newcomb College, where she studied art.
Judy loved her hands in dirt. Her yard was always filled with beautiful flowers and potted plants. She had an eye for color and loved to shop.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Covenant Nursing Home for the love, kindness, care, and compassion shown to Judy for the last five years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service in Metairie Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 10:00AM.
