Preceded in death by six sisters, two brothers, husband Edward J. Charlet, Jr., son Russell J. Charlet, daughter Beverly C. Pate, and grandson Russell J. Charlet, Jr.
Survived by children Joyce Hooke Downey (Thomas), Don Charlet (Kathy), John Charlet (Rhonda), Gary Charlet (Deborah), sister-in-law Beverly DeFraites, daughter-in-law Charlene Kilian, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Longtime resident of Lakeview and member of St Dominic Parish. Active in Lakeview Woman’s Club, Daughters of ’98, St. Dominic Choir and Rosary Altar Society, AT&T Pioneers, Lakeview Botany Guild, NAIM, and the DAMES.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park.
