Sara Oliva entered into everlasting life on March 4, 2015 at the age of 93. She was born in El Salvador. She is preceded in death by her husband Mario Oliva; parents Julia and Alejandro Montoya; brothers Louis Montoya and Ciro Montoya; sister Chofi Anduray and grandson Tony Claros. Sara is survived by one sister Ava Oliva and one brother Julio Montoya. She is further survived by her children Alicia Claros, Doris Barake (Ronald Siegeltuch), Guillermo Oliva (Vilma), Mario Oliva (Milena), Carlos Oliva (Margarita) and Julio Oliva (Amanda). She is survived by 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Mama Sarita was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had a loving and generous spirit and touched the lives of many people and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from 12-2 pm at LakeLawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Saturday, March 7, 2015. A Mass will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 pm.
