It was here that she began her career, met her loving husband and together raised their family. Julie saw to it that her seven children were educated in and practiced the Catholic faith. She was always supportive of her children and their many activities! Julie loved Jesus and had a strong devotion to Our Blessed Mother. She was active in each of the church parishes along her journey, including St Mary Magdalen and St. Clement of Rome both in Metairie and Holy family and St Joe in Jackson, MS.
Julie enjoyed square dancing, bridge, golf, bowling and many other activities with Allen. She always enjoyed watching sports on television and was especially partial to LSU, Tulane and the Saints.
She was a sweet, beautiful, kind and friendly lady. She was very easy to talk with and was always interested in what you had to say. She was a sounding voice to many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her primary care givers Marisa, Sue, Laura, and Francine. We would also like to extend gratitude to Angeli with Hospice Associates.
