June Gibson McGehee

On Thursday, January 9, 2025, June Gibson McGehee, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 84. A native of New Orleans, June graduated from John McDonogh. June and Everett owned and operated several dry cleaners throughout the New Orleans area. She is survived by her three children, Lori McGehee Lenfant (Warren), Kerry McGehee (Karen), Craig McGehee (Paula); her eight grandchildren; Jennifer Wright (Eddie), Warren Lenfant III, Benjamin Lenfant (Caroline), Gabriella Konechne (Chas), Lauren Hingle (Justin), Craig McGehee, Jr., Alex McGehee (Shirley), Cory McGehee; her nine great grandchildren Fiona Wright, Keela Wright, Giuseppe Konechne, Patria Wright and Chip Konechne, Evelyn Lenfant, Pippa Konechne, Graham Hingle, and Brooks McGehee. She is preceded in death by her husband Everett McGehee, her brother Joseph A. Gibson, Jr. and parents, Joseph A. Gibson, Sr., and Esther Rose Carbone Gibson. June truly loved Mardi Gras while spending time with her family; treasuring her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, lunching, and visiting the casinos. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at 12:00pm on Friday, January 24, 2025 at St. Catherine of Siena, 105 Bonnabel Blvd, Metairie .Visitation will begin at 11:30 am.
