Justin Chad Russo, 25, passed away on July 25, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Jude Russo, Jr., his grandfathers Gary Jude Russo, Sr. and Andrew Nedham Mims, and grandmother Darlene English Mims. He is survived by his mother Michelle Mae Mims Russo, brother Andrew Nedham Mims II, grandmother Linda Savarino Russo and a host of loving family and friends. Justin was known as a beautiful soul who loved life. He lived it to the fullest and was a stranger to no one. He touched the hearts and lives of many people. He was the bright, shining star who would light up any room. It was Justin’s generosity that made him a hero to an abundance of people. Although his life was cut short, his legacy remains with his family and friends forever. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 3:00pm. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 12:00pm.
