Kenneth Edward Ford

Kenneth Edward Ford, son of the late Joseph Louis Ford and Marie Leonor Gagnon, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the age of 78. Devoted husband of 56 years to Genevieve Warner Ford. Loving father of Wanda Felger, Brenda Montalbano, and Michael Cognevich. Father-in-law to Brian Felger, Henry Montalbano, and Stacy Stieffel. Loving grandfather to Chantelle Cognevich, Bradford Felger, Madelyn Cognevich, Matthew Felger, Julie Montalbano, and Elizabeth Felger. Brother of Leonor Schellhaas, and the late Justin Ford, Eleanor Sunseri, J.L. Ford, and Marlene Enger. Brother-in-law to Donald Schellhaas, Gail Ford, Leonard Enger, Charles Jones, Wayne Jones, and the late Georgiana Ford, Joseph Sunseri and Philip Jones. Also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kenneth was honorably discharged from the 159th Consolidated Aircraft Squadron, US Naval Air Station, New Orleans, LA. He was a kind and fun loving man who will be missed by all.

Friends, family, doctors and nurses of East Jefferson General Hospital are invited to attend the funeral mass on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchatrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. The visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of mass. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124.
