Kenneth Anthony Mariano, 76 years of age and a native of New Orleans, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on June 4, 2016. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Johnston Reynolds, father, Stephen Mariano, Sr., step father, Frank S. Reynolds and his brother, Stephen Mariano, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances Macheca Mariano; sister, Constance Mariano Trainor (Gilbert); 2 half sisters, Toni Porter and Delone Mariano; daughters Donna Pettus (Joseph) and Milinda Frey; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer Fonte, Joseph Pettus, Jr. (Holly), Shane Frey, James Pettus (Kristen), Stephanie Castillo (Desiree), Heather Frey and Rachel Frey; 5 great grandchildren, Leah, Anthony, Hailynne, Brody and Aubrey. Kenny was a loving man who was devoted to his family. His family was everything to him. Anyone who ever met him loved him and he will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Metairie Cemetery Mausoleum. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00am.
