Kevin Cassard Koll

Kevin Cassard Koll passed away peacefully on March 8th at the age of 62. He was born to the late Noel and Joycelyn Koll. He graduated from Brother Martin High School in 1979. He enjoyed working on the Mississippi River for over 40 years at E.N. Bisso & Son and the New Orleans-Baton Rouge Steamship Pilots Association. Kevin is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Kay Carroll Koll, to whom he was married for 39 years. From this union, they have two children: Casey Koll (Amanda) and Cody Koll (Emily). He was also a loving brother/brother-in-law to Darlene Koll LeBlanc (Francis-deceased) Charlene Koll Roth (Donald) and Alan Carroll (Pam). He was a wonderful "Pops" to his grandson, Kayden, and a caring Uncle to many nieces and nephews. We are grateful to his caregivers who helped make it possible for him to be at home with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration @ theaftd.org. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 11:00am until mass begins at the 1:00pm. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park.
