Kris was born in New Orleans and attended college at Delgado Community College. He apprenticed as a plumber with his father's company and later moved into mechanics. He enjoyed listening to music, was an avid gun and coin collector, and was always up for an adventure off-roading and camping.
Kris was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Kuntz. He is survived by his wife, Katy Monroe Kuntz; children, Kyle Kuntz and Inara Kuntz; mother, Patricia Dutrey Kuntz and her companion, David Genevay; sister, Lara Kuntz Tedesco (Bradley); grandfather, August Kuntz and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
The family would like to give special thanks to Doctors Jayne Gurtler and Sean O'Brien for their compassionate care for Kris.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM followed by a Mass at 12:00PM. Interment will be private.
