L. Frank Formusa

L. Frank Formusa passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017, at the age of 81. Frank was born in New Orleans on April 22, 1936 to the late Frank Paul Formusa and Emilda Beauchange Formusa. He is also preceded in death by his siblings Louis Formusa and Katherine Formusa Talluto (Peter). Frank is survived by his niece Anne M. Talluto; nephews John and Frank Talluto (Linda); great-nephew Peter M. Talluto and great-niece Meghann Talluto Glenn (Tom). Frank received his Masters in Education from Loyola University. He taught mathematics at Warren Easton High School, East Jefferson High School and Archbishop Rummel High School where he was also a guidance counselor. Frank was an active parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church and was a recipient of the St. Louis Medal. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the at St. Patrick’s Church 724 Camp St. New Orleans, LA 70130 on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at church at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Metairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Patrick’s Church or St. Michael’s Special School.
