Lawrence V. Hartmann, Jr.

Lawrence "Larry" Vincent Hartmann, Jr. passed away at the age of 90 years on August 4, 2021. He was born on March 28, 1931 in New Orleans and graduated from St. Aloysius High School and Delgado Vocational School. He worked as a skilled draftsman and offshore construction superintendent and was employed by Shell Oil Company for over 33 years. In addition to being a Eucharistic minister, church volunteer, and altar server, Larry was a devoted parishioner of St. Christopher, St. Anthony, and St. Catherine of Siena. Larry was a member of the Knights of Columbus, being a Grand Knight for two years and entrusted as the financial secretary for 23 years. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Patricia Steib Hartmann; his daughter, Karen Lynn Hartmann; and his son, Lawrence Vincent Hartmann, III. Larry is survived by: his daughters, Kristin Lotz (Jeff) and Kathleen St. Romain (Scot); his sons, Lloyd Hartmann (Jennifer) and Louis Hartmann (Andrea); his sixteen grandchildren; and his sixteen great-grandchildren.
