Lei was a native of Michigan. She and her husband, Donald Mohler Sr. resided in Louisiana for the past 50 years. Lei was retired from Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. She also was a dedicated blood donor at Ochsner for many years.
Lei and Don had 5 children, 8 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellen and Marshal Conley and her eldest daughter, Marsha Mohler.
Lei is survived by her husband of 65 years Donald Mohler Sr, daughters Donna Brown, husband Charles, Denise Kennedy, husband Alvin, Emily Huber, and son Donald Mohler Jr, wife Karen.
She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Jason Brown, wife Melissa, Jessica Alaniz, Abigail King, husband Daniel, Aaron Brown, Matthew Huber, Kirsten Ward, husband Daniel, Nathaniel Kennedy, and Alison Mondebello, husband Chad.
Lei will be missed by her many friends in Michigan and Louisiana.
A memorial service will be at ST. PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH in Hammond on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at ten o’clock. A private interment at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum will follow later that day.
