Lennis Tommy Conrad

He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1969 and attended the University of New Orleans. He was a packaging specialist; business owner of Clear-View Packaging Systems, as well as, a sales representative for Associated Packaging, Inc. for over 31 years. On November 30, 2001, he earned his Black Belt in Taekwondo at Elmwood Martial Arts under Master Rick Foley.

He is survived by his beloved of 21 years, Paula Marie Ramagos; mother, Peggy Brassette Conrad; children, Kristy Lynn Conrad, Lennis Richard Conrad, and Kelly Conrad Burmaster (Brett); sisters, Sherie Ann Conrad (Julien Pembo), Brenda Marie Conrad (George Lanning), Daina Jean Conrad, Darnell Conrad Benitez (Brian); grandchildren, Travis Thomas Burmaster and Blaine Richard Burmaster; nephew, Nicholas Conrad Sporl, and his beloved four-legged fur babies, Willie and Sam (“The Boys”).

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Henry Conrad; grandparents, Henry Joseph Conrad, Vivian Sanchez Conrad, Lennis Brassette, and Mamie LeBlanc Brassette.

Lenny helped those he could during good times and bad. He was very giving, kind, and thoughtful. Lenny was very much loved and will be sorely missed by all.

Family, friends, and colleagues are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Boulevard, New Orleans, Louisiana 70124. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. A private graveside service will be held on Monday for family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home in his honor.
