Leola Schneider Welty (Tee) entered eternal life on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at the age of 91. Born Leola Betty Schneider on February 28, 1931, Tee, as she was known to family and friends, is preceded in death by her parents Morris A. and Leola Julia Schneider and her husband of 34 years John C. Welty, Jr. She is also preceded in death by her infant daughter Pamela and her brother, Morris Schneider, Jr.
She is survived by her four living children Gwen (Tom), John III (Brenda), Clay (Kevin) and Cindy (Neal), and her sister Shirley Welty (Douglas). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Tee loved flowers, cooking and most of all Christmas and Easter Celebrations with all the family in attendance.
A Visitation will be held at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 4921 W Metairie Ave, Metairie, La 70001 on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 10AM to 12PM. Mass will begin at 12PM with Interment to follow at Lake Lawn Park Cemetery.
