He was preceded in death by his wife Earlene Lassere Zeringue, his parents Didier Sidney and Marie Amelia Troxclair Zeringue, his four sisters Genevieve Zeringue, Julia Hubbell, Yvonne Duhe, Wilda Zeringue, and his three brothers Sidney, Ernest, and Douglas Zeringue.
He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran and the owner of Lionel’s Refrigeration Service. A native of Destrehan, LA and a resident of Metairie for 60 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 Noon. In lieu of flowers donations to the Jefferson Council of Aging, Inc. at www.jcoa.net or Masses are preferred.
