Lloyd was a great man and we all feel so blessed to have such a wonderful patriarch at the head of our family for so many years.  He loved and embraced life, loved his family, loved computers, always enjoyed telling stories, and made sure that his family never wanted for anything.  It was such a tragedy to lose him so fast, and it was a devastating loss to us and the people that knew him.

My sincere sympathy to your family. May the God of all comfort be with your family in your time of grief.

Lloyd's interest in electronics kindled my interest which lead to a carrier as a electronics engineer; I always remember the time he showed me his first "radio" and took time with me to explain the workings. Thanks Lloyd.

Lloyd is my 2d cousin. His mother, Olena, and my Mom, Lucy Armstrong Shillingburg, 1st cousins, were very close and Lloyd and I had many times together as young kids. My heart is with you in this time. God bless. I pray you may be comforted with the fact that we will all be together some day in heaven with our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

I will miss seeing Mr. Lloyd (and Leslie when she came in) every week at Elmwood.  I would always try to stop what I was doing when I saw his face at the door.  Then, I would grab any mail he may have had & then go walk down to his class with him.  We would tell each other various things starting when my Dad would bring me to Tech Services when I was a baby & he used to hold me. My Dad & Mr. Lloyd would still do lunches at the yacht club etc very often.. They both had some stories - funny & serious. He was very dedicated to his students & would always stay late after our campus closed sharing his knowledge & wisdom.  He will be greatly missed.  Praying for his family.

I knew Lloyd from Denver City. Great person!  Prayers and blessings for all of his family and friends especially his wife.

Leslie, I thank God that Lloyd had someone who loved him and stood beside him. I hadn't seen him but a couple of times since we graduated, but I will never quit missing him. We met in 1954 and played together every Sunday afternoon. My dad always said he was my first boyfriend. He was a boy, and he was my friend, so he must have been my boyfriend. I never dated him, but he was my friend! My prayers are with all of you!

I only knew Mr Lloyd for a short time at Ochsner. He was always a very sweet man to me and the members on my team. My greatest memory of him is when we threw the IS Halloween party and Mr Lloyd dressed up at Hagrid - beard and all. He will be missed.

I have been gone from Denver City for many years, but still have a clear mental picture of Lloyd as a teenager. I am happy that his life was lived well among family and friends. Our prayers are with you.

I had the pleasure of working with Lloyd Bingham for 14yrs at Ochsner in the Main frame area. Lloyd was a very special friend, and a very knowledgeable hard worker. He was always helpful in giving me the right way to install his equipment, but make sure you follow his directions to the tee. Every time we(Greg & I) worked on any of his installs he would bring us Pizza. We would laugh, joke and go back to work on his project. I will miss him a lot. A very remarkable man to call a friend. My thoughts and prayers are with friends and your family. Rest in peace Lloyd....

I had the pleasure to had known Lloyd for over 30 years. Truly a good co-worker as well as a friend. My prayers are with the Bingham family.

Lloyd was my teacher at Tulane and then continued to teach me as a coworker at Ochsner for the last 17 years. He was always ready to offer his help or advice for personal or professional matters. Lloyd had a way of making people achieve more than people thought they could.

I worked with Lloyd for many years at Ochsner. His patience with me when I was trying to understand how things worked was remarkable. I learned so much from him. I loved talking to him on many subjects not related to work. His love for his family & that grand daughter of his came out in his eyes when he spoke of them. Leslie, I admire the way you helped him in every way possible when his mobility was weakened. What a love story the 2 of you must have. God bless you & your family. He will be missed by many.

Lloyd was the first teacher I had when working on my undergrad at Tulane and he was wonderful at making the very tedious subject matter easier to understand.  Little did I know that when I got out of the Marines, I would be working right down the cubicle row from him at Ochsner.  He was a great guy who always came to work with a great attitude.  He will be greatly missed at Tulane and at Ochsner.

Although our interaction were not extensive, Lloyd was always pleasant and was never seen without a smile.  His wit was welcome as was his sense of humor.  A man who will still stand out from the rest of the crowd.

I worked with Lloyd for 5+ years at Ochsner. Lloyd was always quick with a hello and a smile despite anything he may have been dealing with healthwise. Many a time I had the pleasure of listening to him tell me stories of the trouble he got in during his youth. It was a pleasure to know him. My sincerest sympathy for you all.

I worked with Lloyd Bingham at Ochsner since 2001. We worked in the Main Frame environment then in the Network side of the Data Center. It was a pleasure to work with and to know him. I am so sorry for your loss.

I had the honor to work with Lloyd on several projects in my 9 years at Ochsner.  He always astounded me with his extensive breadth of knowledge about programming and his calmness always helped a tense situation.   He will be missed !

I knew Lloyd very briefly as a colleague at Ochsner.  His smile and gentle joking manner always lit up the room.  His spirit will be missed dearly.

I had spent more time with Lloyd at Ochsner than he had with his wife!!! We worked closely together on many late night technical problems. He was devoted to Ochsner almost as much as his family. I will sorely miss my friend Lloyd. May he be resting peacefully now. My prayers go to his family.

Lloyd and I have been friends since we were very small children.  Lloyd never failed to call me on my birthday to give me greetings and update me on his family.  His mother and I shared the same birthday, so it was easy for him to remember my special day.  I will miss his calls.  He was a life-long kind and caring friend.

I had the pleasure of working with Lloyd during my 10 years at Ochsner.  His wit, lost on many, was a pleasure.  Sending Love & Light to his family and friends.

I met Lloyd Bigham WA5VCN in the early 70s as a co-worker in the surplus electronics business -- of all things!. He was a senior at Tulane and an accomplished amateur radio operator. He was my teacher, then and later at Tulane University College. He was brilliant and the consummate Texas gentleman. I will miss him terribly. Who else could use "and, and" in a lecture so effectively? Rest in Pearce, Lloyd. I will not be able to think of the Little Man Computer (LMC) without shedding a tear. My prayers for your family.

As a student of Professor Bingham's most recent class at Tulane, I am honored to have known him. Professor Bingham was a wonderful person and a very knowledgeable instructor. I enjoyed attending his class every Monday night. I send my thoughts and prayers to Professor Bingham's family and friends.

Lloyd began his Ochsner career working in a cubicle next to mine in late 1988.  I had the pleasure to discuss work and family for most of these next 28 years.
