

Lois Ruiz Negrotto loving mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend, went home to God on Friday, May 23, 2025. She is preceded in death by her significant other of 24 years, Donald Mautemps, beloved parents Edward “Son” and Loretta Poche Ruiz and sister Gloria Zeringue. She is survived by her brother Cecil Ruiz, son Bill Negrotto, daughters Cynthia Poche (Raymond), Cheryl L Barraco, Aileen Kenney (Rock), Becky Faucheux; grandchildren Rachel K. Ruiz (Manuel), Chris Barraco (Kara), Joel Keller, Brad Negrotto, Marisa Myers (Henry), Justin Faucheux, and Crystal N. Hendry (Jared); great grandchildren Isabella N. (Zack), Mason R., Seth R. (Emma), Tristin R., Briette R, Rylin M., Kagen M., Kobe K., Kade K., Aiden H. and Lukas H. great great grandson Manuel R. “Lil Man” as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Lois was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church where she was active in the St. Therese Society. She was also a member of Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign. Lois enjoyed dancing and celebrating life she will be sorely missed. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, beginning at 10:00am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 13396 River Rd. Destrehan, LA followed by a funeral mass at 12:00pm. Interment at St. Charles Borromeo Church Cemetery.
