Louis Guillaud, Jr.

Louis Guillaud, Jr. passed away on September 21, 2023 at the age of 88. He was born on October 30, 1934 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating high school, he went on to a long career in pest control. He was the proud owner of Jefferson Pest Control and High Pressure Cleaning. After retiring, he kept busy and active by working for many different companies, such as: Treasure Chest Casino, L.A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, Alan’s Limo Service, and Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. Louis was proud to serve his country as a member of the Army National Guard.

He was the husband of the late Gail Patricia Schaff Guillaud for 52 years. Father of Louis Guillaud, III (Ann), Valerie Marie Guillaud Vidros (David) and Edward Schaff Guillaud. Son of the late Louis and Jeanne Cazenavette Guillaud. Brother of Jeanne Lavender and the late Andrew Gaston Guillaud. Grandfather of Michelle Guillaud Augustin (Christopher), Elissa Guillaud Faaloua, SFC, Louis Michael Guillaud, IV, U.S.A., Jessica Guillaud, Nicholas Vidros, Krystal Guillaud, and Kylie Guillaud. Great grandfather of Derian, Maelani, Teoni, Karl, Elanie, Ezara, Crayton, Jr., Kash, Paris, Kayden, Rhyme, Piper, and Sawyer; three nieces, Barbara G. Canter, Elizabeth Guillaud, and Laurie G. Starring; and one cousin, George Cazenavette.

Louis will be laid to rest in Metairie Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 12 PM.
