

Lynda graduated from Loyola School of Dentistry and went on to become a dental hygienist, establishing a successful practice alongside her husband. She was a devout parishioner of Mary, Queen of Peace Church in Mandeville, LA. She enjoyed reading and fishing; but most importantly, she cherished time spent with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Dr. Gilmer W. Engelhardt Jr.; and her brothers, Edward and Conrad Ernst. Lynda is survived by her daughters, Stacey E. Adams and Andrea L. Keller; sons, Gilmer W. Engelhardt III (Michelle), Edward E. Engelhardt; grandchildren, Lea Keller, Christopher Adams, Gavin Keller, Sage Keller, Logan Engelhardt, Ryan Engelhardt, Jaden Keller, Chase Keller, Madison Engelhardt; and her great-granddaughter, Vera Lyn Moyers.
The family would like extend their sincere gratitude to all family and friends for their loving support, prayers and encouragement.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass to be held at Mary, Queen of Peace Church, 1501 W Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA 70471, on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation at church will begin at 11:00 a.m. A private interment will follow Mass in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum in New Orleans, LA. All in attendance are kindly required to wear facemasks.
