Wife of 52 years to Jesus Izquierdo. Mother of Manuel Izquierdo. Sister of the late Ramon Garcia and the late Larix M. Firmin. Daughter of the late Andres Garcia and Luz Ofelia Garcia.
Marciana was a pre-kindergarten teacher with St. Anthony of Padua for fourteen years before her retirement.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans. Visitation begins at 10 AM with a Catholic chapel service beginning at 12 PM. Marciana will be laid to rest in Lake Lawn Park immediately following her services.
