Marion is proceeded in death by her parents, Fredrick J. Wartmann and Aimee Bacas; brother, Fredrick Wartmann Jr.; and sisters, Claire W. Lacombe and Hilda W. Mooney. She is the wife of the late Ep A. Tusa; they were married for 67 years.
She is survived by her children, Nicholas J. Tusa (Macel) and Diana Tusa Daigrepont (Phil); grandchildren, Nicole Tusa, Natalie Tusa Almerico, Kevin P. Daigrepont, Kellie Daigrepont Bode; and many great-grandchildren.
Marion and EP were key members who helped start the Krewe of Zeus in 1957. They so loved the carnival season.
Marion and Ep volunteered for 25 years at East Jefferson Hospital, five years in the ER and 20 years in the GI Department.
She was amazing, compassionate, and active in many things. She will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral mass will be held for Marion at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. The visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m.
