It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Martha Ann Barr St. Romain on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the age of 84. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and a devout Catholic. Martha is survived by her daughters Roxanne Scallan (Kenneth) and Denise St. Romain, her granddaughter Kristina Ducote, grandson Corey Ducote, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Charles M. St. Romain; her son Charles M. St. Romain II; her parents John Wilson Barr, Sr. and Lurline Plauche Barr; and her brothers Roy Laborde, John W. Barr, Jr., and Keith A. Barr. They are now together with our Lord in Heaven for all eternity.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery.
